Sixty whole years have passed since the start of the National Liberation Struggle of EOKA and four old fighters from Sotira wanted to visit the Imprisoned Memories to recall the torturous and glorious moments of the struggle.
Prisoners from Sotira, Elder George Ioannou, Fanis Paraskeva, Andreas Meleti and Giannakis Papadopoulos, visited the Prisoners of War. There, they were guided by the Municipality of Vryonidis, while they were welcomed at the offices of the EOKA Fighters Association by the President, Thassos Sophocleous and the members. Grigoris Afxentiou's competitor, Augustinos Augustis, was also there. Panagiotis Antoniou also accompanied the fighters from Sotira.
