A meeting between a delegation of the Municipality of Deryneia, the Vice President of the Board of Directors Mr. Michalis Hadjipandelas and the General Manager of the EAC Mr. Adamos Kontos took place recently.
The topics of the meeting were the creation of a Photovoltaic Park, the installation of photovoltaics in municipal buildings and the building of the Community Kindergarten located next to the Dead Zone and the saving of electricity in street lighting.
"In Cyprus we have enough sunshine, said the Mayor of Deryneia and it is time to start exploiting solar energy by converting it into electricity."
