The Ayia Napa Youth Festival starts tomorrow

The two-day Ayia Napa Youth Festival will be completely renewed and upgraded this year, which will take place on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 August, inside the space as well as in the courtyard of the Medieval Monastery.

The program of the first day (Friday, August 25) starts at 7.15 pm with "Flashes of traditional music and dances", where the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa will start dancing from the roundabout of Makarios Avenue to its southern entrance. At 7.45 the official opening ceremony will take place indoors, where the official guests will greet. Then in the same place will be the awards for the "New Year" and for the winners of the photography competition, which was recently announced by the Youth Council. Also, inside the Monastery, at 8.00 pm saxophone will play Greek and foreign music and at 8.30 pm the baton will be taken by "Rebetiki Fatrias", which will present rebetiki music and songs.

The Cypriot Music Bands Karma Pal (8.15pm), George Sidiropoulos (9.15pm), the Music Ensemble "Millenium" from the second stage, which will be set up in the courtyard of the Monastery, will perform Romania (8.45pm), the big winner of Voice, the Cypriot Giannis Margaris (10.00pm) and the first night will end with the famous Greek singer George Papadopoulos.

The artistic program on Saturday, August 26, at the podium in the courtyard of the Monastery will begin at 7.15 with the Chainsheart Music Ensemble, followed at 8.00 pm by the "Stonus" Band, the Romanian Music Ensemble "Millenium" (8.45m. m), the Music Bands "On Tour" (9.15 pm) and "The Booth" (10.15 pm) and at 11.00 pm the Cypriot young singers Aimili Charalambous and Kyriaki Kotziapassi. Inside the Monastery, at 8.30 pm, the "Little Rebetes" will appear, who will present rebetika music and songs.

The same night in Seferi Square around 7.00 pm the Dance Band "Aradippos", will present a music and dance performance with Cypriot traditional dances and songs.

It is also noted that in addition to the artistic program there will be various exhibitions and a variety of other activities.
