Athens: Four Turkish aircraft (two F16 and two F4) entered the Athens FIR, south of Lesvos, yesterday, Monday, at 13.50, without having submitted a flight plan.
They then flew, at an altitude of 19.000 feet, over Makronisi (14.14) and the Cannibals (14.15) of the Fourni-Ikaria archipelago, and at 14.17 over Agathonisi, while a minute later the Turkish formation left the Athens FIR SE Samos.
The Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted by Greek fighters.
