The event "Let's go for Orthopedics" took place on Sunday, March 29, which took place in the context of strengthening the relations between the Police and the public and at the same time the training for the proper use of the bicycle by the children of Sotira.
The event included a bicycle race with a specific route in the area of Sotira and was of a charitable nature with a symbolic contribution for financial support of a student.
The cycling race was attended by 50 students from schools of the Municipality of Sotira, while before the start the Police Sergeant and President of the Parents' Association of the XNUMXrd Primary Savior, Mr. George Dimitriou gave a lecture on the safe use of the bike, as well as helmets were handed over by Famagusta Road Safety Officer.
The event was organized by the Sotiras Community Police Department, in collaboration with the Famagusta Police Department and the Parents' Association of the XNUMXrd Sotiras Primary School.
Before the start of the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of Zacharias Manitaras. The members of his family also attended the cycling, while the students handed over the amount, which was collected as a token of contribution.
