Bruises and abrasions on various parts of the body, as well as cigar burns on the legs, is a forensic report for the 2-year-old boy who was transported to the hospital of Lamia with hypothermia a few hours ago. His 39-year-old father, who accompanied him, was taken to the psychiatric hospital today after his apology by decision of the head of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Lamia, Nikita Theologitis.

It all started in the early hours of Monday. According to what became known, the couple from Athens returned from the three days and parked in a hotel in Kamena Vourla.

The woman fell asleep and shortly before midnight the father took the child, as he claimed, for a walk. Shortly after 3 in the morning on the beach of Kamena Vourla he asked those who were there to call EKAB to transport the child -who was half-naked and wrapped in a jacket- to the hospital, as he had a strong shivering and hypothermia.

When the doctors of the hospital of Lamia noticed the marks on the child's body and the excuses of the father, that they were due to self-injury did not convince them, they addressed the competent authorities.

Then, by order of Mr. Theologitis, the father was taken into custody, pending the forensic examinations that had been ordered, while the prosecutor himself asked to talk to the mother of the child, who according to information could not shed light on the specific case. more.

It is characteristic that today, before the prosecutor ordered his confinement in the psychiatric hospital, the father was examined by two psychiatrists in the hospital of Lamia, who found that the 39-year-old needs treatment in a special institution.
