The City Hall and the entire Municipality of Sotiras got dressed for the holidays on Sunday, December 8, 2013, when at 6 pm the established Christmas Lighting took place.

Crowds of people gathered in the courtyard of the City Hall from 5 pm when the artistic program began.

Along the street, bazaars were set up selling donuts, popcorn, waffles, melomakarona, kourabiedes, muffins, wine, coffee and many other delicacies for young and old, as well as handmade ornaments from the Municipal Volunteer Group, which will give as each time all proceeds to charity.

The little ones were entertained by the inflatables set up along the road, as well as Winnie the Pooh, while there was a kiosk with face painting. Shortly before the end of the event, Santa Claus directed and distributed gifts and sweets to the children.

In the artistic program, carols were heard from the symphonic band "Armonia" of the Municipality of Paralimni, as well as from the choirs of Sotira, the children's Municipal Choir, the Youth Choir of Sotiras All-Day School and the Municipal Choir of Adults.

The program was organized by the Culture Committee of the Municipality.

The decoration of the City Hall was undertaken by the artist Fani Sergiou with the Culture Committee of the Municipality.
