According to the Police, around 18:30 on Friday afternoon, members of YKAN, after information, stopped and searched in Frenaros a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old private employee from Sotira with a 23-year-old unemployed co-driver from Frenaros.
Following a written testimony of the 23-year-old, a search was carried out at a farmhouse he maintains in a rural area in Deryneia, where a metal container was found in a kitchen roll case containing a quantity of green dry cannabis plant material weighing 11 grams, a quantity of white powder - 2 grams of cocaine. .
The findings were taken as evidence while the 23-year-old was arrested for a self-inflicted crime.
After the young man's written consent, a search was conducted at his home in Frenaros without finding anything illegal.
The young man was taken into custody while the 21-year-old was taken to the offices of YKAN Famagusta where after being investigated, she was interrogated in writing and nothing was found against her, she was released.
