Our unemployed are looking for work, not food

If possible. All the weird, the absurd and the crazy only happen in this place. How is it possible to gather as organized groups as groups of citizens and as individuals aware, food and other edibles for our unemployed and at the same time keep their jobs foreign? My head does not fit, my mind does not fit, our compatriots ready and available for work, ready and available to serve the homeland, fulfilling all their obligations to the state, to be fed by other Cypriots while begging for a job.

How is it possible for every community member to come, to have his job to get his unemployment, to get all his benefits and to transfer almost all of his money to his homeland while of course the unemployed Cypriot is humiliated by begging?

How is it possible for unemployed young scientists to leave this place, losing these brilliant minds, who would give their all for the development and progress of this place, to now sell their ideas and knowledge to other countries?

How is it possible for our state to leave so many of our young people, to leave for foreign countries due to lack of work and at the same time looking for young people to man the National Guard? I also wonder how much fun these young people have left to serve their homeland when their parents lose their jobs or are unemployed and will not be able to fulfill years of dreams of a good education.

In other words, I wonder how these young people of ours will have the courage and the morale to serve their homeland tomorrow when in their own country they become victims of unequal treatment, exploitation and humiliation in combination with some other children who due to the power of money may not even serve the homeland? Do some people realize that this homeland is its people, are they the ones who watered this place with blood and sweat, not only so that we can have our freedom, but above all our dignity? Do some people realize that if the homeland loses its people, our homeland and of course our property will also be lost?

If they realize and understand where we are headed, let them revive and give their profits for at least the next few years so that we can keep both as a country and as the people of this semi-occupied homeland. Here is Rhodes, here is our CYPRUS.
