The 40-year-old was arrested by the Police, in order to facilitate the investigations regarding an investigated case of theft and theft.
The case was reported to the Police by a 33-year-old owner of a goldsmith located in Ayia Napa. According to the complainant, yesterday around 1.30 pm, an unknown man entered the goldsmith's shop as a customer, who without being noticed by the saleswomen, managed to steal a base, which contained 29 rings, with a total value of approximately € 8,000. .
Around 5 p.m. Yesterday, the complainant located the alleged perpetrator on a street in Ayia Napa and notified the Police. Members of the Ayia Napa Police Station, went to the scene, where they located him and from examinations they conducted, they found that he was 40 years old.
A search followed in the apartment where he lives, in the province of Famagusta. During the investigation, the 29 rings were identified as well as the amount of € 625.
An arrest warrant was issued against the 40-year-old, under which he was arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
