According to the Police, it was reported yesterday at the Famagusta TAE by a 42-year-old hotel receptionist in Ayia Napa, that a 27-year-old from Sweden, who had been staying at the hotel since April 22, 2015 with a reservation until the 26th of the month, left the hotel. April 24 leaving an unpaid bill for various services, amounting to 850 euros.

An arrest warrant was issued against the 27-year-old, it was placed on the Stop List, ie the persons whose exit is prohibited from Cyprus and is wanted.

Also yesterday Sunday, after examinations conducted by members of the TAE, it emerged that on the same dates, ie 22 - 26 April, another 23-year-old Swede was staying at the same hotel, who also left the hotel without notice. The 23-year-old left the hotel on the same day that the 27-year-old left.

According to the police investigations, it seems that the two young men managed to secure the provision of various services from the hotel and in the end they left and left the bill unpaid.

An arrest warrant was also issued against the 23-year-old and his details were placed on the Stop List.

Today, shortly after three in the morning, the 23-year-old appeared at the departures department of Larnaca airport and was arrested. The young man was taken to the Ayia Napa detention center.
