A building in Ayia Napa was engulfed in flames at dawn.
Specifically, around 4:30 in the morning, a fire broke out in a restaurant extension, which was out of order in Ayia Napa.
Firefighters responded to the spot with 4 vehicles, while the fire was brought under control around 6:00.
The fire caused extensive damage to the extension of the building-restaurant on the ground floor, size (50 X 40 meters), which was made of light materials (metal construction with wooden roof) as well as equipment that was inside.
There was an evacuation of the staff of the restaurant who was staying in the specific building before the arrival of the Fire Service without anyone being in danger.
With the first light of day, investigations were launched by the Police and the Fire Brigade to determine the causes of the fire.
