The suspect in the bloody attack on the St. Petersburg metro has been identified by the Security Authorities in Kyrgyzstan.
This is Akbarzon Jalilov who was born in the Os district of Kyrgyzstan in 1995 and is only 22 years old. Kyrgyzstan, a state of 6 million in Central Asia, is a political ally of Russia and also hosts a Russian air base, Reuters reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the St. Petersburg metro station in the evening where the bombing took place and left flowers in memory of the victims.
