The former President of the Republic of Cyprus, George Vassilios, was rushed to the General Hospital of Nicosia yesterday afternoon, with a fainting episode.
The appropriate tests were performed and now his condition is stable.
As it became known, however, Mr. Vassiliou will be detained for a few days at the Nicosia General Hospital for precautionary reasons.
