The winter this year was late but it came in dynamically, bringing a lot of rain and snow. These weather events caused smiles of optimism for reversing the negative data regarding water scarcity.

This at least seems to emerge from the forecast of the Cyprus Meteorological Service. At the same time, the quarterly seasonal forecast persists for less rain and higher average temperatures.
It is noted that the Meteorological Service clarifies that the seasonal forecast is transferred with every reservation, as according to its data so far there seems to be a discrepancy. The messages regarding the flow of water in the dams remain encouraging.
