As of today, according to an official announcement of the Ministry of Defense, those interested in the new SYOP positions that have been opened in the National Guard can submit their application. The last day for submitting applications will be June 16, 2017.
According to an announcement of the GTP, it is reminded that in this year's competition, after the amendment of the relevant legislation, women can participate as well as hoplites who are currently serving their term in the National Guard.
Candidates must be up to 32 years old, have a high school diploma, have a white criminal record and have completed their military service with a physical fitness class I1 or I2 which they still retain. It is understood that the condition of military service is not required for women.
The Contracted Hoplites will have the following benefits and benefits: Monthly salary € 1127 + 13th (annual gross salary € 14675.13, Hours 7: 00-14: 00 with 6 evening services (as a rule) and with exemption the next day, free medical care and movement, annual contract and possibility of renewal for another 9 years, Study plan with reduced tuition up to 50%, Scholarship plan for specialized services / positions, Vocational training and certification plan and Scoring for future recruitment in the Army and Police.

Applications will be submitted electronically on the website newarmy.mod.gov.cy, from today until June 14.
It is noted that the list of successful candidates lasts one year and will be used to fill vacancies throughout the year.
This competition will take place every year, in the month of May to renew the list.
