The whole event was flawless with the guests having fun with the music program, the food but also the abundant free strawberries.
The Festival was honored by the presence of the President of the Republic Mr. Dimitris Christofias, who previously inaugurated the Paralimni-Deryneia highway.
The Strawberry Festival is organized jointly with Anagennisi and the Municipality of Deryneia and brings annually most of the budget of the football team of the neighboring Municipality.
It would be good for such organizations to be an example for the Savior's Colossus Festival, which seems to be declining.
