The access of swimmers and small boat operators to the construction site of the Ayia Napa marina poses a risk of accidents and should be avoided, according to a statement from the Department of Merchant Shipping.
It is also recommended that swimmers and boats keep a distance of at least 50 meters from the above area, while it is added that buoys may enter the area.
