The children's theatrical performance of the Children's Stage of Doros Kyriakidis "Nikolakis and the Unemployed-Skoufitsa" is hosted by the Municipality of Sotiras this Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Municipal Theater Sotiras at 15:30 in the afternoon. The show is organized by the Community Department of Sotiras Public Kindergarten and the expenses will be allocated for the needs of the school.
The children's stage Doros Kyriakidis started operating in 1986. Since then until today it has uploaded more than 85 works !!
From 1986 until today, the Dorou Kyriakidis Children's Stage has collaborated with many and remarkable actors. Some of them are: Pizza Antoniadou, Ioanna Kamenou Siafkali, Eleni Kaoula, Andreas Vassiliadis, Andreas Vassiliou, Doris Kyriakidou, Revveka Apostolopoulou, Maro Kafkaridou, Olga Potamitou, Androula Agaloghalo. Key collaborators: Doros Kyriakidis, Costas Schiniou Christina Terezopoulou. Elisabeth Blackki, Giota Cross and Petros Filippou.
Our children's scene has collaborated with large organizations as well as ministries: Ministry of Finance (Nikolakis Learns the Euro), Ministry of Transportation (Nikolakis Trochonomos), Department of Environment (Nikolakis Recycled), Ministry of Justice and Public Order (Nikonis ).
The works that are being uploaded are current and most of them have been written by Doros Kyriakidis himself. Their subject matter has to do with the current interests of children, parents and teachers. Through entertainment are given many messages that help improve the character of the child.
In 1999 the main hero Nikolakis (Costas Schiniou) entered the Guinness Book of Records, making the children's scene and the whole of Cyprus proud.
