The Cyprus Rally 2017 ended late Sunday afternoon in Ayia Napa Harbor. The winner was Nasser Al Attiyah from Qatar with co-driver Matthieu Baumel, who was also the winner of the Love Cyprus Golden Stage special stage which took place earlier in idyllic area of Cape Greco.
The second and third place in the general classification were occupied by the Cypriot drivers Simos Galatariotis with co-driver Antonis Ioannou and Panikkos Polykarpou with co-driver Gerald Winter.
The prizes to the first three winners of the general classification were awarded by the Mayor of Paralimni Mr. Theodoros Pyrillis, the Deputy Mayor of Ayia Napa Mr. Christos Zannetou and Mr. Antonis Michailidis, President of the Association of Cypriots with 10.000 Euros The special route of Love Cyprus Golden Stage was delivered to the Qatari driver by the Vice President of CTO Mr. Costas Koumis.
The Colin McRae ERC Flat Out Prize was awarded to Alexandros Tsouloftas and prizes were also awarded to the winners of other categories.
