Easter Monday at Sotira
In the Municipality of Sotira, traditional toys will be set up in the courtyard of the Holy Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior. The Catechism Meetings Sotiras will organize from 2 to 5 in the afternoon Easter games for young and old, which include egg races, bag races, rope, sousa etc. At 5 in the afternoon there will be an evening service and then at 6:15 there will be an Easter event by the children of the Catechism Meetings Sotira with Cypriot sketches, dances, songs and draws with rich gifts.
Art program in Ayia Napa
In Ayia Napa, tonight's events are part of the program of Easter events of the Municipality. At 15:45 the Vespers of Love will be performed, at 16:30 souces will be set up and “Tsiattista in Toumpezia will be organized with the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa. From 17:30 until 19:00 will be organized Easter Traditional Games, while at 19:00 the program will be enriched with Greek Traditional Dances of Epirus, Thrace and Macedonia with the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa. At 20:00 will follow "Traditional Listening and Rocking" by the Band Andreas Nikolaou and the Dance Ensemble "Anadysi" Paralimni with Folk Poets, while the program will end at 21:00 with the Dance Club "Rymvos".
Easter games in Paralimni
The Municipality of Paralimni will organize at 16:30 Traditional Games in the courtyard of the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios from the Catechism Meetings of Agios Georgios. At 19:00 there will be a Traditional Dance Parade from the Cultural Workshop "By the Lake" in the main streets of the city. There will be a music and dance program and a party in the Municipal Square of Mitropoleos.
Easter Monday in Avgorou
In the Community of Avgoros, the Community Council in collaboration with the Folklore Group "Avkoritissa Foni" organizes an Easter event in the courtyard of the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul. At 15:00 at noon there will be an Artistic Program after food and music. The event is under the auspices of the President of the Youth Organization Mr. Panagiotis Sedonas.
At the same time, a special event is organized at the Botanical Garden "Cyherbia" of the Community of Avgoros. On Easter Monday and Tuesday, from 9:30 to 18:00, hundreds of Easter eggs will be hidden in the big Labyrinth in the Cyherbia Botanical Park in Avgorou.
