Most motorcycle riders are fortunately conscientious. Being on the machine, they realize the sense of danger but also that their loved ones are waiting for them at home - children, spouse, parents, siblings, partner, friends.

This message concerns you that when you get on the bike, you do not count either your life or those who are waiting for you at home.

However, there are some who, either due to denial, or due to recklessness, or due to naivety, walk the streets barefoot, meaning that they do not wear their helmets.

It is for them that Athanasis Athanassiou from Sotira made the following post, after which he lived the worst, as he characterizes it, experience of my life.

His message as it is:

"My friends, on Monday of the Flood (5/6), at 11 pm, I happened to live the worst experience of my life. On the road as I was riding the motorbike, in a moment of daydreaming as a car turned on the spot, it entered my lane and stopped me. The collision was so strong that I jumped off my bike and fell with my head on the asphalt, making bumps until I stopped at a tree. Wondering how I still live? Because I was wearing my helmet and the helmet was what saved me. Otherwise the consequences would be very bad.

I want to address all young people who have a motorbike, big or small. Always wear your helmet. Take it as a tip, because there are some people who are waiting for you to go home safe and they love you, because you are the most valuable thing they have in their life. Maggia is to wear your helmet and go safely. I wanted to say these things and if you want you can share them so that everyone knows that the helmet saves lives ".
