Unknown people set fire to a motorcycle rental shop in Protaras with the value of the damage not yet calculated.
According to the Police, today, about 20 minutes after midnight, a fire broke out in a motorcycle rental shop in Protaras, owned by a 46-year-old man.
The fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Department.
Members of the Famagusta Police Department and the Paralimni Police Station went to the scene where preliminary examinations revealed at first sight that the fire in the store was malicious.
The examinations also revealed that the strangers who set fire to the premises, had broken into the store while there was a strong smell of flammable materials.
According to the owner of the property, the store does not have insurance coverage while the damage to the store has not yet been calculated.
