A fatal accident with the victim Evdokia Panagiotou, 37 years old from Sotira, mother of twin boys aged 2 years, occurred after one o'clock in the afternoon on the Larnaca - Ayia Napa highway.

The accident seriously injured the husband of 37-year-old Andreas Panagiotou, 42, from Paralimni, while the couple's twin boys, who were in the car, sitting in the special child seats and fastened with the seat belt, were slightly injured.

The doctors on duty at the General Hospital "confirmed the death of 37-year-old Evdokia Panagiotou. Due to the serious injury of Andreas Panagiotou, the doctors are talking about amputation of part of his leg. "One of the boys has a broken arm, while his twin brother has been slightly injured." The father and the two boys are being held for treatment at the General Hospital of Famagusta.
