The Avgorou Technical School was turned into a battlefield on the morning of Friday, October 21, when students from two communities in the area were caught in the arms. According to the first information, students from Liopetri and Xylofagou are said to be involved in the episodes on the occasion of a small episode that took place yesterday between two students for personal reasons.
According to the director of the school, Andreas Sophocleous, there was a fight between two students yesterday and after that information was circulated, which reached the school management, that this morning there was likely to be a new, more serious incident at the time of arrival of the students at school. So early this morning, a group of teachers from the school arrived at the students' arrival area in order to prevent any incident and to prevent clashes between the students.
A group of students from Liopetri was found at the spot waiting for students from Xylofagou and despite the efforts of the teachers, incidents broke out and there was a fight between about 30 students. About four students were injured in the incident.
