Mourning in Myrkinos, Serres as an entire family was torn apart by the coronavirus.
Within three 24 hours, first the father ended up, then his 48-year-old daughter and yesterday his 67-year-old wife. All three were unvaccinated.
All members of the family were reportedly unvaccinated, mainly due to their religious beliefs. The funeral of the father took place on Friday at 15:30 at noon and that of his 48-year-old daughter, on Saturday at the same time.
The mother who was fighting for her life and was hospitalized in critical condition, could not stand it and ended up yesterday, according to information.
The moving farewell
The 48-year-old's family was very dear to the area and the loss of both father and daughter has shocked relatives and friends. Posting one of them on Facebook is moving:

According to information from iefimerida.gr, the 48-year-old was in a suspended health, as she did not want to be vaccinated. The funeral of her 67-year-old mother will take place today at 12.30 at noon, in Myrkino, Serres.
With the pandemic raging, scientists stress that those of our fellow citizens who have not yet been vaccinated should do so immediately, as an explosion in the number of cases is expected in the coming days, due to the Omicron mutation.
