Minor easing of measures against the spread of coronavirus is expected to be approved today by the Council of Ministers.
According to what the Minister of Health Michalis Hatzipandelas stated yesterday, the proposals that will be presented before the Minister will concern, among other things, the entry of unvaccinated in stadiums, theaters and cinemas, with PCR test.

Also, a proposal is expected to be approved regarding the increase of the number of attendees both indoors and outdoors.

Regarding the use of a mask, the Minister of Health stated that this measure will continue to apply for quite some time, as it has been proven to protect.

Regarding the relaxations that are expected to be approved today, Mr. Hadjipandelas said that they concern football matches, theaters, cinemas, where only vaccinated people were allowed to attend, noting that some, according to the measures that will be approved, "will be entitled to enter these areas with PCR test ".

Asked why people would not be allowed to enter the area and with a Rapid test, the Minister of Health said that the government will proceed with relaxation slowly, because the goal is to keep the stadiums open, asking citizens to be a little more patient.

In addition, the Minister of Health said that "there are some thoughts that will be discussed in the Council of Ministers for a partial increase in the number of people indoors and outdoors."
