The murder of 20-year-old Caroline in Glyka Nera by her husband Charalambos Anagnostopoulos continues to be covered by the British media, with the Sun calling the 33-year-old pilot a "dangerous man" in an article.

The British newspaper cites a police source for the operation to transport Anagnostopoulos from Alonissos to Athens shortly before the confession.

As it is known, the police had initially leaked that Babis Anagnostopoulos would be transported to Athens by an EL.AS helicopter that landed in Alonissos, immediately after the memorial service for the 40 days since the death of his wife, Caroline Krauts.

However, in recent days other information has been leaked - which is also cited by the Sun - according to which the husband-killer was initially transported by boat from Alonissos to Skiathos and from there by twin-engine aircraft to Athens.

Able to drop the helicopter

According to the source of the British tabloid, the police officers who organized and carried out this operation knew that they were dealing with a "dangerous man".

As it is also mentioned, "Police officers refused to transfer Kurolin Kravats' murderer with the police helicopter as they were worried that he could try to shoot it by attempting to commit suicide."

They were even capable of trying to shoot down the helicopter in a possible and desperate attempt to escape from the police cordon, knowing full well that the return trip to Athens would have Korydallos as its final destination.

"We had planned the business in detail. We would not take any risks. "Our relationship had developed and we knew we had to deal with a dangerous man who was capable of everything," said the source quoted by the Sun.

"He was smiling a few minutes after the memorial service"

The man who transported Anagnostopoulos from Alonissos to Skiathos, Captain Dimitris Anthimos, confirms the cynicism of the confessed perpetrator of the Freshwater crime.

The captain, who normally works in a well-known hotel in Skopelos, was surprised when the Greek authorities asked him to transfer a VIP from Alonissos to Skiathos.

Only when he saw Babis Anagnostopoulos and the two police officers with politicians accompanying him did he realize what was happening.

"The boarding was very fast. He entered the boat from here. They placed him and put him over here at this point and he sat down. "On his right and left were police officers," he added.

According to the captain, the husband-killer was smiling even at the last moment, even a few minutes after the 20-year-old's memorial service.

"I have never seen a better actor. "This man was smiling during the transfer as if he was going on a cruise and I can not imagine that this man had killed his wife and a while ago he was at her memorial," said Dimitris Anthimos, talking about the crime in Glyka Nera.
