Facebook Home integrates the News Feed, messages, notifications and generally the whole social network experience on your phone.

Let's see in detail its functions:

Of course, Facebook Home could not miss push notifications. All social network notifications appear directly on your home screen. You can delete them as soon as you see them or if you are busy removing them temporarily to see them later.

Chat heads

One of the most useful functions that Facebook Home brings with it is the chat head or in other words the messaging function of the social network. Every time you receive a new message on Facebook, it appears in the form of a pop-up above the application in which you are. In addition, you can easily reply from wherever you are without the need to even move to the messaging app. The chat heads feature works with both SMS and Facebook Messenger messages.

AppLauncher

Facebook may be at the heart of your device, but that doesn't mean you can't easily access the rest of your apps. Swipe up on your profile photo, the app launcher opens where you will find all your applications, sorted according to the criteria of your choice.

Which smartphones will support Facebook Home?

As Mark Zuckerberg revealed, Facebook Home will initially be available for specific Android smartphones (and later tablets) which are: HTC One and HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S IV and Note II. Even more Android models will be compatible in the future. Users who have the latest version of Facebook installed will be asked on April 12 if they want to install Facebook Home.
