Prosecutors in Malaysia will charge two women (from Indonesia and Vietnam) with murder for their involvement in the murder of the North Korean leader's half-brother, according to the country's attorney general today.

Kim Jong Nam, who was critical of his family and his half-brother Kim Jong Un, was assassinated at Kuala Lumpur airport after being exposed to the neuro-paralyzing chemical VX by the two women.

This chemical has been characterized by the UN as a weapon of mass destruction, while the two women allegedly sprayed it on his face.

Attorney General Mohamed Apadi said the charges against the two women would be announced tomorrow, under Article 302 of the Penal Code, which provides for the death penalty. "I can confirm this," he wrote in a message to Reuters.

South Korean officials say the killing was organized and carried out by North Korean agents, while Malaysia has identified eight North Korean nationals as suspects in the killing.
