US President Donald Trump is celebrating his 72nd birthday today, two days after a historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
At age 70, Trump became the oldest candidate for the US presidency in 2016, although Ronald Reagan was 73 when he ran for re-election in 1983.
The health of the American president, both physical and mental, is of great interest to the country. Trump underwent his first medical in January after taking office, and White House doctor Ronnie Jackson found him "in critical condition."
Prior to his election, officials in his campaign had issued a letter in December 2015 to Dr. Harold Bourdain's staff, assuring him: "If Trump is elected, I can say unequivocally that he will be the healthiest man he has ever been. elected President of the United States.
In early May, Borstein told CNN that the US president had "dictated the entire letter".
He also told NBC that in February 2017, three people from Trump's entourage stormed his office and took all the files concerning the American president.
This comes just days after the doctor revealed to the New York Times that Trump was taking medication to increase hair growth on his head.
