An important day for him
The President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis celebrates his birthday today, Sunday. The President turns 74 years old after he was born on September 27, 1946 in Pera Pedi, Limassol province.
He was first elected President of the Republic in February 2013 and was re-elected in 2018. Previously, he was the leader of the Democratic Alarm between 1997 and 2013 and served as a Member of Parliament as a Member of Parliament for Limassol between 1981 and 2013.
Mr. Anastasiadis is a lawyer by profession and founder of the law firm “Nikos Chr. Anastasiadis & Associates ". He graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed postgraduate studies in maritime law at University College London. During his university studies, he was a member of the Coalition Center based in Athens and was founded by George Papandreou.
