A young Italian woman accidentally received six doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine yesterday and was monitored, without any health complications, in a Tuscan hospital.
One nurse made a mistake and instead of administering a dose of the vaccine, she used the contents of the entire vial during the vaccination of the 23-year-old medical student.
Unfortunately, clinical trials of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in cases of overdose have stopped at the same time as four doses. The case of taking six doses at the same time is not included in the literature.
