Joe Biden lives and will now have with him in the White House and the Commander, the new dog of the US presidential family.

"Welcome to the White House, Commander": With these words, the US President welcomed his new puppy (via twitter).

The photo he uploaded shows Commander galloping with a tennis ball in his mouth in the White House garden.

Of course, Joe Biden was not left in the photo. The services of the US president also uploaded a video that presents to the public the "new little one of the Biden family". The puppy approaches the president and he caresses him saying "hello my friend".

The footage also shows Joe Biden throwing a tennis ball, as well as entering the presidency building holding the puppy leash, with his wife Jill by his side.

The name Commander was probably confused because the president of the United States is Commander in chief, that is, commander of the armed forces by his position.

The American president sees his popularity at a standstill as he faces political roadblocks on the Capitol Hill and the resurgence of the new coronavirus pandemic.

His services did not provide further details about the Commander.

Joe and Jill Biden moved to the White House with their two dogs, German Shepherds. They announced in June via Twitter the death of the eldest, Champ, at the age of 13.

The youngest, the Major, is the first presidential dog rescued from a shelter.

But Major, who bit two employees in the presidency within a few weeks, was sent back to Delaware, to the Biden family home, mainly for training.

In the spring it was said that the presidential couple would have a cat, but this plan has not progressed so far.
