Famous Youtuber was found guilty of child pornography

He faces up to five years in prison

Austin Jones, a singer who became famous by uploading his songs to Youtube, is facing at least five years in prison after pleading guilty to involvement in child pornography, according to the US edition of HuffPost.

The 26-year-old defendant has been released on bail so far after his trial in a Chicago court. As prosecutors pressed for Jones to be remanded in custody pending sentencing in May, the judge granted his release so he could continue seeking psychiatric counseling.

Jones admitted to pressuring 14- and 15-year-old girls to send him sex videos during the seven years 2010-2017.

In one case, the singer told a 14-year-old that he was "So lucky" to have his attention on her, asking her to take off her underwear to "Prove to be his biggest fan".

The case is set to begin on May 3, and Jones faces up to five years in prison, up to 20 years in prison.
