Are we what we eat? In the Chinese city of Hangzhou, the "First World Hotel", where the Yunman Hot Springs are located, redesigned one of its hot baths and turned it into a "human pot with meat and vegetables".
We read in the South China Morning Post that, on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, the hotel wanted to promote a healthy lifestyle. They divided the bath into several parts and filled each one with real vegetables: lime, chili peppers, lettuce, corn, apples and bananas. And visitors can soak in, paying tribute to Loukoulos.
The photos have gone viral on the internet: greedy people relax and, at the same time, chew vegetables and a slice of spit that appears over their wet heads.
This is not the first "human pot" to be opened in China. A similar attraction was launched in Chongqing, but with plastic vegetables. Instead, the hotel’s hot tubs in the charming former capital of the Song Dynasty offer real vegetables!
It is now a popular weekend destination, only a two-hour drive from Shanghai.
