North Korea has been supplying Syria with materials for the manufacture of chemical weapons, according to a United Nations report.
The report states that at least 40 shipments were shipped from North Korea between 2012-2017. They contained, among other things, acid-resistant tiles, special valves and pipes.
At the same time, the report, which has not yet been published, according to the BBC, states that experts on the construction of missiles from North Korea are working in Syrian arms factories.
The report follows reports of chemical weapons being used by Syrian forces, which the Assad government denies.
