Philippines: 182 killed in tropical storm

More than 180 people have died in a tropical storm that swept through the southern Philippines, with more than XNUMX missing.

The Tembin was hit by winds of up to 80km / h (50 mph).

The Philippines regularly suffers from deadly tropical storms, although Mindanao does not hit often.

Most of the bodies were recovered from the waters of the Salong River on the island of Mindanao, where extreme weather caused widespread flooding and landslides.
