A very strange case unfolds in Phoenix, where a woman who has been in a coma for 10 years… gave birth!
The woman, who fell into a coma after almost drowning, was hospitalized at Hacienda Healthcare, when the birth started on December 29 and she finally gave birth to a baby boy, according to local media.

Of course, Phoenix police launched an investigation into the sexual assault. No one knew she was pregnant, according to reports.

"The incident is being investigated by the Phoenix Police Department," Chief of Staff Tommy Thompson told Reuters in response to a question about the reports.

Hospital spokesman David Leibovich said his administration had recently been informed of a "deeply worrying incident" involving one of the doctors on duty.

He declined to say whether staff were asked to undergo a DNA test to identify a possible suspect or whether the hospital took precautionary measures to protect patients from a similar condition.

The victim's lawyer, Tassa Menacker, said police should perform DNA tests on male hospital staff.
