Mainland China reported 15 cases of the new coronavirus yesterday, compared to seven cases recorded the previous day, according to a statement from China's National Health Commission.
The commission said all cases involved imported infections, involving travelers from abroad, as the 26th consecutive day without local infections was recorded.
The number of new asymptomatic cases also increased to 22, from 15 recorded the previous day. China does not include these asymptomatic cases as confirmed cases of COVID-19.
