The 58-year-old owner of a children's station fell into the hands of the Colorado Springs police in the United States, when, after searches in one of its facilities, 26 children were found hidden in the basement, behind a "fake wall", at the moment the permit provided for the care of six children.

In addition to 58-year-old Carla Feith, who was arrested on suspicion of child abuse without injury and for attempting to influence a civil servant, authorities have made other arrests in this case. In particular, three of her employees were arrested, Caitlin Nelson, 31, who is also accused of illegal possession of a controlled substance, Christina Sauger, 35, who is also accused of child abuse and marijuana use, and 24-year-old Valerie Freskes.

Police at Play Mountain Place Nursery, following reports of overcrowding, found 26 children under the age of three in a basement behind a "fake wall" with two adults. Most of the children were dehydrated and wearing dirty diapers, and when police located Faith in a house inside the facility, she claimed she had no basement and that the children were missing in the park.

Then one of the officers found backpacks stacked in a closet, with Faith justifying that she had volunteered to wash the backpacks of a football team, while another officer heard music from the basement and a child crying before finally discovering " false wall ".

Naturally, after Faith was arrested, the competent service suspended the license of the specific station, while a padlock entered the other two kindergartens that were in its ownership.

Faith, meanwhile, paid $ 3.000 bail and was released until Jan. 2, when she will stand trial.
