Australian Immigration Minister Alex Hawke has used his personal power to revoke Novak Djokovic's visa as his lawyers prepare to file immediate injunctions against the ruling.
A statement from Alex Hawke stated: public interest to do so.
This decision followed the orders of the Federal District and Family Court on January 10, 2022, annulling an earlier decision of annulment for reasons of procedural justice.
"In making this decision, I have carefully considered the information provided to me by the Home Office, the Australian Border Patrol and Mr Djokovic. "The Morrison administration is firmly committed to protecting Australia's borders, especially in the face of the coronavirus pandemic."
