Oskar Krajewski transforms broken electronics, used plastic containers and unwanted toys into stunning sculptures designed to make us think. The London-based artist finds his raw materials in local trash cans and calls the art of "Recyclism" with trash cans being a source of free materials.
Krajewski hopes to raise awareness about the problem of plastic pollution of the environment. "We are suffocating our planet with plastic and I believe that art can play an important role in our survival." he says.
In particular, it has made a few small pieces dedicated to marine life and the environment, such as a sea turtle made entirely of plastic and LEGO bricks. His most impressive work, Recycled Future, is inspired by sci-fi films such as Blade Runner and features 25.000 different tracks.
His works are valued at a few hundred euros to several thousand euros.
