A magnitude 6,1 earthquake shook the region of Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said Monday.
The focal depth of the earthquake, however, was large - 138 kilometers - according to the initial estimate of the Center.
