The BMW driver had a mountain of luck
A 44-year-old driver in Slovakia had mountain luck when his car was thrown into the air after hitting a curb. The driver had lost control as he fell asleep at the wheel. The video of the horrific collision that took place in the early hours of last Thursday at the entrance of a tunnel was released by the Slovak police.
This shows the BMW that the 44-year-old was driving hitting unrestrained on the curb, as a result of which the vehicle was launched at a height of seven meters, hitting the entrance of the tunnel and making turns in the air.
The photos from the damage suffered by the car show the intensity of the collision but also how lucky the 44-year-old driver was, who, according to the police, did not suffer any serious injuries except for some bruises.
