Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially becomes "Sultan" from today, as the Decree is published in the Turkish Government Gazette, through which the country's president acquires supremacy. The publication implements the constitutional revision, which amends laws of a century, since they were passed from 1924 to 2017.
The decree changes everything in the responsibilities of the prime minister and the cabinet. He hands them over to the country's president, that is, Erdogan, who now concentrates all power in his hands, because he also controls the majority in the Turkish National Assembly.
