The 69-year-old is following the legal path

A 69-year-old man from the Netherlands is struggling to legally change his age and "shrink" by 20 years to be able to work more but attract more women to Tinder.

Emile Ratelband argues that since transsexuals have the right to change gender so he also has the right to change his date of birth. In fact, in order to support his claim, he says that his doctors have said that he has a 45-meter body.

The 69-year-old filed a lawsuit in his municipality when the authorities refused to change their date of birth in the official documents. "I have taken exams and you know what they show? "My biological age is 45 years old," said the 69-year-old.

Emile Ratelband was born on March 11, 1949 but claims that he feels at least 20 years younger and so he wants to change his date of birth to March 11, 1969. "When I am 69 I feel limited. If I am 49 years old I can buy a new house and drive another car. When I go to Tinder and it says I'm 69 I get no answer. "If I am 49 and I have this person, I will be in an advantageous position," he added, according to the Daily Mail.

The 69-year-old also claims that his age is a deterrent to work as companies are reluctant to hire a retiree as a consultant.

The judge said there would be practical problems if people were allowed to change their date of birth as in practice this would mean the legal deletion of part of a person's life.

The court is expected to give him a written decision within four weeks.
