Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko today.
The two men discussed the issue of people being held on both sides, according to a statement from the Ukrainian President's office.
According to the same statement, Poroshenko placed special emphasis on Ukrainian citizens detained in Russia who are on hunger strike.
