Little girl killed little boy with car seat belt
A father's visit to a thrift store in Houston ended tragically.
Adrian Dreshuan Middleton parked his car outside the store, leaving behind his two children, his 6-year-old daughter and his 12-month-old son.
Before entering the store, he made sure to give them snacks and water, put them in childcare and left the air conditioning on so that they would not get hot.
Calm that he had everything well done, he entered the store to buy clothes for the family.
When he left the store an hour and a half later, he saw his daughter in the car crying in the back seat. Next to her was her dead brother.
The 6-year-old girl, speaking to the police, said that she was playing with her brother, but at some point she got angry because she did not stop crying. Then he grabbed the safety life and tied it around his neck until the crying stopped. He thought he had fallen asleep, as he characteristically said.
The incident happened on May 20, 2018, but only on Friday 16/11 the authorities attributed the accusation of abandoning minors to the father.
