A foreigner miscarried using pills in Paphos.
According to information, the couple went to Paphos General Hospital on Thursday afternoon, as the girl had vaginal bleeding.
Doctors found she was 10 weeks pregnant and the fetus was dead. The 23-year-old reported to doctors that she tried to abort by using pills.
The doctors asked the 23-year-old to stay for treatment, but she refused and left the hospital with her partner.
The Police were then informed who located the couple and explained to them that they had to return to the Hospital to follow a treatment program.
After the 23-year-old returned to the Hospital, the Police issued arrest warrants for the couple for the offenses of attempted abortion and committing a felony.
A 26-year-old foreigner was arrested, while it is expected that the 23-year-old woman will be arrested at a later stage.
